Are you a regular summer visitor to the Isle of Tiree or is this the first time you’ve even considered heading to the Inner Hebrides for a holiday? Our question to both of you: why wait until summer?

If you’re thinking of a staycation, a long weekend or a festive break, Tiree is truly breathtaking with endless possibilities and vacation potential Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn. Whichever of the four seasons you choose you’ll wish you could stay longer. And you never know you might join may other travellers and decide to make this amazing little Isle home.

 1.    The Night Sky. See the night sky like never before and maybe you’ll experience the Northern Lights

2.     The Scarinish Beach Hotel. An amazing Christmas meal or winter warming pizza by the log fire

3.     The Simple things. Hebridean Roast coffee to take with you as you walk the wind swept winter beach, to drink under canvas or in front of the open fire, cosy inside your blacktop cottage. One thing is for sure you’ll never forget how great it tastes and you’ll want to take some beans home.

 
 

Spring

A short hop off the west coast of Scotland Spring has sprung on the tiny Isle of Tiree. Are you a wild swimmer searching for a new and undiscovered spot to immerse yourself in waters that will create moments never to forget? Are you scanning the webpages for summer sun but can’t wait? Or are you looking for a change of scene away from the madding crowd?

1. Wild Swimming. Visit one of the many island spots. You’ll find us in “The Art of Wild Swimming Scotland” by Anna Deacon and Vicky Allan

2. Puffins. Head out with Tiree Sea Tours to see the Puffins.

3. Gott Bay. A Spring walk along more than 2 miles of empty golden beach. I’ll let the image below convince you. Pop in for lunch at the Lodge hotel.
